is best known for his colorful landscapes and abstract paintings. Self-taught, Charlie began painting as another means of expressing his love of dance and music as well as his love for the world unnoticed, the spaces that are all around us but never our focal point. Painting with acrylic, oil, charcoal and collage, Charlie plays out a song and dance through the movement on each canvas with a mixture of bold markings and soft brush strokes, romantic symbolism and sometimes words. Charlie began his artistic career as a musician and has shown in Portland Oregon, Los Angeles and New York.
